Scope

These terms apply to merchants using the Shopify app Pixeado. By installing the app you accept them. Shopify's terms for the App Store apply in addition.

Services

Pixeado resizes and compresses your store's images, suggests alt texts and file names and keeps the originals so you can undo changes. The plans page in the app shows which features belong to which plan.

Plans and billing

The Free plan costs nothing. Plus and Premium are billed by Shopify in US dollars on your Shopify invoice, monthly or yearly. Plus and Premium can each be tried free for 7 days. During the trial, bulk editing is limited to 50 images in total (Plus) or 100 (Premium), and AI alt texts to 50 (Plus) or 100 (Premium). These limits count once per store; switching plans does not reset them.

You can cancel or change your plan at any time through Shopify. Periods already paid are not refunded pro rata unless Shopify provides otherwise. We announce price changes at least 30 days in advance.

Images and backups

Pixeado changes images in your store. Before every change we keep the original, and we keep it for 30 days after the last change to the image, then we delete it. Check the results before editing large numbers of images at once.

After uninstalling, we delete the saved originals as soon as Shopify asks us to (usually after 48 hours). Restore or download any originals you want to keep before that.

AI suggestions

Alt texts that Pixeado suggests with artificial intelligence may be inaccurate or wrong. Check them before saving. AI alt texts are limited per plan and month; the app shows the current number.

Your content

You are responsible for the images and texts in your store and need the rights to them. We use your images only to provide the app's services.

Translations

Pixeado is available in several languages. The texts of the app, these terms and the privacy policy were partly translated with the help of artificial intelligence (AI). They may therefore contain translation errors or imprecise wording. The German version is binding.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are only liable for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence. We are not liable for lost profits or consequential damage to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.

Changes

We may adapt these terms. We announce material changes in the app in good time.

Governing law

Swiss law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Place of jurisdiction is the provider's registered office, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
